The Swiss Digital and Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) ecosystems are rapidly evolving. Various departments of the Swiss Federal Administration are working on the e-ID project to establish a system of state-recognized, electronic credentials and introduce the associated legislation.
These developments present significant opportunities, but also challenges for the effective implementation and usage within the Swiss banking sector. It goes without saying that a digital identity must be trustworthy and verifiable, protect the customers’ privacy and be easy to use for various current and future requirements.
Together with the Digital Identity and Data Sovereignty Association (DIDAS) and the Business Engineering Institute St. Gallen AG (BEI), we are pleased to invite you to a focused webinar to provide essential insights into these developments and their implications for Swiss banks.
In our webinar on 24th September 2024, we will focus on the following three points:
- Raising awareness and preparing Swiss banks for the Swiss E-ID and the Self-Sovereign Identity architectural approach.
- Demonstrating the relevance, value propositions and possibilities for new customer experiences in the context of SSI ecosystems for Swiss banks.
- Identification and discussion of implications for the business architecture of Swiss banks.
You will gain valuable knowledge about the latest national and international activities in building an SSI trust infrastructure and get a better understanding of the implications and success factors for the business architecture of Swiss banks, particularly in areas such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) and onboarding processes. We will also present practical use cases and discuss strategic opportunities for Swiss banks within decentralized trust networks.
